Salty Sea

Materials:

2 Raw eggs

2 Containers of Water

Instructions:

Determine how much salt is needed to make an egg float

1. Put a raw egg in one container

   • Did the egg sink or float and why?

2. Pour as much salt in a container as you think will make an egg float

3. Stir salt water really well

4. Put a raw egg in the salt water

   • Did your egg sink or float and why?

   • What is different between the regular water and salt water?
